Cold and wintery Sunday in Dover, Kent – and most of us are looking forward to some warmer weather, living on the coast near the famous “White Cliffs of Dover” has some wonderful walks for us and the dogs (two border terriers) who can of course walk for days and never seem tired,  they love this weather but I have to say having been born and bred in much milder climes, (Zimbabwe) it is necessary to wrap up warm in several layers complete with woolly hat and mittens, which the doggletts eschew and regard with much amusement.  After a crisp and fast walk we convinced ourselves that a visit to the pub nearby for a warming glass of wine and some lunch was the proper sunday thing to do before returning back to await our guests.  Wonder what they will all want for breakfast tomorrow……..
